Instructions
Send in your entries by Tuesday at Midnight!
- Assign a total of 100% to the players.
- Each of us begins with $10.
- When a player is nominated that you have assigned a % to, you will make a bid for him.
- If you have a '0' assigned to a player, you would nominated him for free.
- If you have nothing by a player, then you don't want him, even for free.
- The amount you bid is based on the money you have left and the % you allocated to the player.
- When a player you assigned a % to is taken, your relative percentages are recalculated.
- For example, if you assigned 25% to Marcelo Rios and he gets taken by someone else, then your basis for 100% becomes (100-25=75%)
- In the above example if you had 25% assigned to Rios and $10 left, you would bid $2.50. However, after Rios is taken (lets say by someone else), you might have 25% assigned to Korda too. Korda's percentage becomes 33% of your remaining money because 25% of the percentages you assigned are gone via Rios and the 25% assigned to Korda is now 25% of 75% or 33%.
- If you still had $10 left and now Korda comes up who you have assigned 25% too, you would bid $3.30 (25%/(100-25%))*$10.
- You may add players to the list that are not ranked in the top 200.
- Bottom line: Assign percentages to the guys you want.
Nominating Order
It will randomly be determined which of us nominates first and then we will go in order of entry submissions received. When it is your turn to nominate, you will
nominate the highest ranking player that hasn't been taken that you have assinged at least a zero
to.
'Special Nomination'
You might want to nominate someone in a special order. One reason is so that you are sure he gets nominated before
your roster is filled up. Another is if you think others have bid on a player you don't want and you want them to have to spend money early on in the draft.
Simply specify in your email, who and in what round you would like to 'special nominate.'
