Scoring: A correctly chosen round one pick will earn you 1 point. Correct round 2 picks receive 2 points, round 3, 3 points and so on.
Upset Bonus: The bonus for picking upsets is always 1 point and exists in each round. An upset is defined as a seeding differential of 4 or more between the two teams in the first round, 3 or more in the second round, 2 or more in the third and one or more thereafter. So, if the number 10 seeded team beats the number 7 seeded team in the first round, you will not receive a bonus point, but 11 beating 6 would do the job. By the Elite 8 and beyond correctly picking a 2 seed to beat a 1 seed, for example, will earn the bonus.
